Join us for an interactive and educational experience for kids to learn about the magic of healing herbs and everyday weeds. After a brief tour of the local flora, we will be crafting our very own personalized potions and elixirs! Recommended for ages 7 and up and an accompanying adult.

This class is led by Jess Starwood, your local clinical herbalist and forager of wild medicine. She is the owner of SunRaven Apothecary in Moorpark, California where she can be found brewing up herbal elixirs, teas and tonics or providing personalized holistic health consultations and leading group hikes and nature adventures. With her lifelong passion for nature and plants, Jess has studied natural health and herbal medicine for over 10 years and has a Masters of Science degree in Herbal Medicine from the American College of Healthcare Sciences in Portland, Oregon.
